Elf Shenanigans 2012
This year, Selsie, our very own Elf on the
Shelf came to visit. He loved hiding in all of our stockings and found our “Snowball
Fight in a Bucket” game. He decided to sit inside the bucket after leaving a
snowball trail for Kayleigh to find.
He had a blast riding on Kayleigh’s horse
and our ceramic deer by the fire place.
Selsie also left cotton ball trails and
wrote messages in shaving cream for Kayleigh to find.
He hid on top of the
refrigerator, the windows, on Kayleigh’s picture, on our kitchen shelves, our
hanging decorations, and took a joy ride in Barbie’s car! He really needs to
practice driving more.
One night, he attempted to fly off to Santa, and fell
off the couch! He broke his arm. Of
course this was the day after Kayleigh had fallen and broke her wrist, so they
were Boo Boo Buddies for a while. His little arm healed and he was as good as
new. He was able to report to Santa shortly after that.
Selsie often took baths
in marshmallows in the bathroom. He liked to be sweet and clean.
Selsie also used red crepe paper to tape
across Kayleigh’s door Christmas morning and held a note that said, “Go Outside”. Santa had brought Kayleigh her very own
little Polaris Snowmobile! Wow she must have been a good little girl!
