Little Monkey Learns to Share

The book Little Monkey Learns to Share is my very first actual publication! This is a dream come true and I am so happy to be able to share pictures from the book with you! Check them out!

The story is about sharing and how it can create positive experiences for both the sharer and the share. (I made up that term but you get the idea). Little Monkey lives next to the only banana tree on the island and does not want to share his bananas with any of the other animals. But he is very lonely. He sees Little Elephant, who loves to share his peanuts with all the other animals, as a happy little guy with lots of friends. Little Elephant teaches Little Monkey that "It is better to share, than not share at all, from the tallest animal, to the very small".

So far, the reports from kids and families alike is that the children love the vibrant colors and pictures and keep requesting the story over and over. That makes my heart so happy!

I went with the Xlibris company to self publish and so far, I have sold the books at craft fairs, schools, have made donations to charities like Make A Wish Foundation, and local libraries and schools. The book is for sale at amazon.com and retail value is $15.99 but it may be on sale for much cheaper! It is also available for purchase through the Xlibris store for $15.99.

I have successfully been able to have it for purchase at Tilly and Salvy's Bacon Street Farm in Natick, MA. It is also for sale at Beyond Beans in Wayland, MA. Be sure to check this place out! They have the BEST  homemade goodies, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee!!! I go there every morning practically and have tried most of their stuff.

Autographed copies can also be purchased from me for $25, this includes shipping and handling. Just send me a request and we can take care of the details!

I am currently working on a series called the Adventures of Chicky. This is a really cute series that features "Chicky" who in reality is based on my daughter. Chicky is growing up and she has many big girl- er, chicky experiences like a new nest, her first Easter Egg Hunt, getting over her fear of the dark, spending weekends in New Hampshire, getting a new bunny rabbit... you get the idea. Hopefully this too will be in print very soon.

Happy reading!
